BIM²form for Allplan
For many companies, formwork planning is still done manually or with various tools. As this is tedious and the planning departments rarely have every tool of different suppliers available in-house, many construction companies or general contractors outsource the formwork planning to external contractors, which can cause considerable costs and make it increasingly difficult to control the course of the project.
The new formwork planning add-on BIM²form for Allplan 2024 enables the automated assignment of formwork elements. Currently, the formwork system Mammut 350 from the manufacturer MEVA is available for this purpose. Going forward, Allplan users will be able to design with formwork systems from various manufacturers – at a fraction of the cost that would be incurred by outsourcing the service.
